Talking about myself is awkward, and I was never comfortable with the third person voice that I had up on my old site... I'm the one writing this, so I want you to know it's my voice here, the same as in the blog. Lose you yet? No? Good, thanks for hanging in there with me! Here's the "about me" stuff...
I've been shooting professionally as a wedding and portrait photographer since 2007, and shooting landscape work since somewhere around 1999 when I bought a Minolta 35mm camera, an updated version to the camera I learned on as a kid, took it to Germany, and fell in love with photography all over again. In 2005, I bought my first DSLR and haven't looked back.
I'm very much a "generalist" photographer... I shoot weddings, fine art portraits, environmental portraits, high school seniors, corporate, head shots, landscapes, events, locations... some days, I just enjoy a chance to shoot a pretty flower.
Starting with my photo "Sterling" in 2010, I have won multiple awards for my fine art, landscape, and portraiture work, and have seen my work displayed on billboards, published in multiple magazines and a book as well.
New work will be added to the portfolios and the shop often, and please check back with the blog often to keep up with my latest work as well! If you have any questions about my work or my services, please click on the contact page and get in touch.
